ABOUT THE CONFERENCE

Best of ASCO UAE 2026, an Official Annual Meeting Review of ASCO® 2026, is a two-day, in-person program designed around the theme “Translating Cancer Science into Practice: Improving Outcomes in the Middle East & Beyond.” This meeting highlights the most clinically relevant content from the ASCO® Annual Meeting so attendees can take home valuable, actionable insights that can be immediately applied in clinical practice.

The program features in-depth discussion and analysis centered around the theme “Translating Cancer Science into Practice: Improving Outcomes in the Middle East & Beyond.” Expert faculty review the findings, discuss the results’ potential impact on the current standard of care, and apply the results within the clinical context while exploring how emerging evidence may shape future oncology practice.

Encouraged by the success of the 13th Emirates Oncology Conference in 2025, SEHA Tawam Hospital will host the Best of ASCO UAE 2026 Conference on 27 & 28 June 2026 at Al Ain Rotana Hotel, Al Ain, UAE. The conference will feature international, regional, and local experts leading interactive discussions on cancer research, treatment, and patient care.

On behalf of the scientific and organizing committees, we thank you for being a part of the Best of ASCO UAE 2026 Conference, hosted by Tawam Hospital and SEHA.

The Best of ASCO UAE 2026 Conference is officially licensed by the American Society of Clinical Oncology® and was held on 27 & 28 June, 2026 at Al Ain, UAE. Chaired by Dr. Khalid Balaraj, the focus of this event was to provide oncologists and other healthcare practitioners with a summary of the most significant treatment advances presented at the 2026 ASCO® Annual Meeting.

The presentations focused on several key disease sites including breast, gastrointestinal, lung and genitourinary cancers.

The abstracts selected for presentation and discussion reflected the foremost research and strategies in oncology that will impact clinical practice and patient care. This two-day program featured in-depth discussion and analysis of the latest scientific findings in several cancer sites and practice-changing advances in cancer treatment. Participants had the opportunity to attend practice-changing abstract and plenary presentations and participate in live panel discussions with leading international and regional experts.
